This year's Semantics Workshop of the American Midwest and Prairies (SWAMP 2009) will be held at the University of Chicago. We hope the following pages will be helpful in planning your travels and your stay here in Chicago. Feel free to email us at swamp2009chicago@gmail.com for any specific questions not addressed here. We look forward to seeing you in November!

Transportation
The University offers information on how to get to campus at this
link. If you are travelling light, we suggest that you take advantage of Chicago's mass transit system, which is relatively inexpensive and reliable. You can plan your route using the
RTA TripsWeb.
Alternatively, cabs from O'Hare or Midway are plentiful; the cost is usually around $40.
Once you're on campus, everything that you can't reach via mass transit or taxi cab, you can reach by foot. Visit our
campus map page for more information.
