Group Projects in Cryptography and Cryptanalysis

The Project

The goal of this project is to construct a method for enciphering English text, and to decipher other groups' cryptograms.  The only constraints were that encryption technique must be a cipher, rather than a code, that the plaintext must be English and at least 200 words in length, and that the source  of the plaintext should be text from a newspaper or other source in the public domain.
